DETROIT (WXYZ) — "Just shock. Unbelievable," said Linda Parker, as she stood across the street from where Detroit Police were investigating the murder of her 63-year-old sister-in-law, Diane Parker.
Late Friday morning, Diane was found dead by a friend inside her home on Meldrum near Gratiot on Detroit's east side, and police said there were obvious signs of trauma to her body.
Police said there was so much blood at the scene that it's quite likely that her killer – or killers – left with blood on them, and they may have tried to explain it away to others.
Diane Parker was killed sometime after noon Thursday after she spoke to a relative on the phone and Friday just before 11 a.m. when her body was found.
