DETROIT (WXYZ) — This week 7 In Your Neighborhood is heading to Detroit's Eastern Market and fabulous foodie spots in Detroit.
7’s Alan Campbell will be broadcasting live from the Flavors of Detroit Summer Festival Friday starting at 5 p.m.
The free festival is presented by 105.1 The Bounce and The Detroit Economic Growth Corporation and will highlight Detroit small businesses, including restaurants, retail and local vendors.
The market will be held in Shed 5 at the Eastern Market Friday June 14 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

All daylong we’ll be celebrating food in Detroit. Tune in to 7 Action News This Morning for a look at a legendary BBQ joint that has a story to tell and a famous sandwich revival.
And at 6 p.m. we’ll introduce you to a Detroit chef who has made it her mission to hire Detroiters, pay a living wage and buy local – all while churning out gourmet food from an unassuming diner on Jefferson Avenue.
