WYANDOTTE, Mich. (WXYZ) — Step inside one of the last house bars in Wyandotte.
What's a house bar you ask? It's a bar smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood.
Frank's Cafe is on the corner of 6th Street and Forest, in an old house, that was built soon after the end of the Civil War, according to owner Mike Pemberton.
Pemberton says the house bar became a legitimate business after prohibition and was issued a liquor license the same year.
