ANN ARBOR TWP., Mich. (WXYZ) — An 81-year-old Ypsilanti Township man was killed Sunday in a head-on crash, according to the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened just before 1 p.m. in the area of Clark and Hogback roads. Deputies say one driver was traveling southbound on Hogback and the other driver was traveling northbound on the same road with the vehicle crash happened.
Both drivers were treated on the scene following the crash and taken to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. Francis Kimball, 81, later died from his injuries. The status of the other driver has not yet been released.
