AAA Michigan reports that compared to last week, the statewide average daily gas price has increased by 10 cents.
Michigan's current daily statewide average is about $2.98 per gallon.
Compared to last week, metro Detroit's average daily gas price also increased to about $2.97 per gallon, four cents more compared to last week's average.
The lowest average price can be found in the Flint area at $2.96 a gallon while the highest average price can be found in the Marquette area at $3.05 per gallon.
Michigan is ranked the first in the nation for biggest weekly change in statewide average daily gas price.
