AAA Michigan reports that statewide gas prices dropped 10 cents last week.
The state average, at $2.62 per gallon, is the lowest since March and is 33 cents less than a month ago.
Overall, the average has declined 42 of the last 46 days for a total of 41 cents. However, the state average is 20 cents higher than this year's low of $2.42, set in February.
The most expensive gas price averages are in Marquette at $2.96, Ann Arbor at $2.72 and metro Detroit at $2.67.
The least expensive average is in the Grand Rapids-Muskegon-Holland area at $2.47.
