(WXYZ) — AAA Michigan reports that statewide gas prices rose 11 cents last week, but declined 2 cents over the weekend. The state average is now $2.15 per gallon.
Regardless of the recent price hike, AAA says drivers are still paying 88 cents per gallon less than they did in early October, when the state average was more than $3 per gallon.
The most expensive gas price averages were found in: Jackson ($2.22), Lansing-East Lansing ($2.22), Saginaw-Bay City-Midland ($2.21). The least expensive were found in: Traverse City ($2.07), Metro Detroit ($2.09), Ann Arbor ($2.11).
