(WXYZ) — A man accused of killing multiple women on Detroit's east side is set to be in court Friday.
A judge will determine if Deangelo Martin is competent to stand trial for an alleged kidnapping. Martin has been charged in the abduction and sexual assault of a 51-year-old woman.

Back in December, a judge said more time was needed to complete Martin's competency evaluation.
Martin is also charged separately with the murder of four women.
Investigators say he left his victims in abandoned homes on Detroit's east side.
