(WXYZ) — A magnitude-3.2 earthquake hit southeast Michigan on Friday evening. The earthquake happened in Lake Erie, just off of Detroit Beach near Monroe County.

Around 7 p.m., our social media channels and phones began to blow up with reports of shaking and a loud boom throughout Downriver.
