Huron High School in Ann Arbor was placed on lockdown Friday after reports of a suspicious person on the property, according to Ann Arbor police.

Police say the principal reported seeing an unidentified subject enter the school wearing a mask and a hoodie. One student tells 7 Action News that he witnessed the masked man come into the school.

A large police response could be seen as they worked to clear the situation. A number of students tell 7 Action News that some sort of prank caused the lockdown.

Students tweeted during the ordeal.

All afternoon and evening events were canceled at Huron for Thursday.
