An anti-terrorism rally will be taking place today in Hamtramck.
People from all faiths will be coming together this afternoon for one cause - and that is to condemn terrorism. Specifically, terrorism committed by ISIS.
Hamtramck, which recently elected the first Muslim majority city council in the country, is filled with people of all faiths including Muslims, Christians, Jews and Hindus.
United and Concerned Citizens of Hamtramck is organizing the event.
They say Muslims are the biggest victims of ISIS and its terrorism, and are just as shocked as everyone else, saying no religion condones the murder of innocent people.
This, comes after President Obama speaking to the nation as part of a response to a rise in deadly terror attacks--and, Donald Trump's controversial comments on wanting to ban all Muslims from entering the county.
The rally expected to take place in front of Hamtramck City Hall at 1:30 p.m.
