WARREN, Mich. (WXYZ) — Santa Claus will be in Warren on Thursday night as the entire community is invited to the Art Van Wonderland in Warren at the location on 14 Mile.

The event is a festive evening of family fun, and starts at 6:30 p.m. with the reveal of the store's sparkling holiday lights and fireworks show.

After, everyone can enter the holiday-themed showroom for hot coca, refreshments, face painting, crafts for the kids and photos with Santa.

“Art Van Wonderland has become a cherished holiday tradition at our Warren showroom,” said David Van Elslander, son of Art Van Furniture founder, Art Van Elslander. “We can’t wait to embrace and celebrate the holiday spirit with our shoppers and their families throughout the community.” As part of the festivities, Santa will announce the winner of a fully restored classic 1959 red and white Ford F100 truck commemorating its 60th anniversary as the company cruises full speed ahead into the future. Almost 55,000 shoppers at Art Van Furniture’s Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri and Iowa showrooms have registered to win the vintage, fire engine red truck.

Santa will return to Wonderland every Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. from Nov. 30 through Dec. 22 to grand Christmas wishes, take familiy photos and more.
