CLAWSON, Mich. (WXYZ) — Clawson police are investigating the death of a 37-year-old man from the area. Officers were made aware of the death following an assault at a home on Nakota.
Around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Clawson police officers arrived at the home on Nakota on the report of a man who entered the residence and assaulted an occupant inside the house, causing facial injuries.
When officers arrived, they saw the suspect walking out of the home where he was placed under arrest. During that time, the suspect made comments that led officers to his home where they found a dead 37-year-old man.
The death is still under investigation. The victim's identity hasn't been released yet.
Police say there's no threat to the public as the suspect remains behind bars.
