UpdateMike Morse says Fieger's sex assault lawsuit is nonsense, claims vendetta

Prominent attorney Mike Morse is adamantly denying allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman at a metro Detroit restaurant.

Morse spoke out following a news conference from high profile attorney Geoffrey Fieger who filed a multi-million dollar sexual assault lawsuit against Morse.

The civil lawsuit claims Morse molested a woman in the back of Steven Lelli’s Inn on the Green restaurant in Farmington Hills.

The lawsuit claims Morse grabbed the woman's breasts.

Morse fired back in his own news conference claiming the allegations are false. He says the woman came up to him in the restaurant wanting to take a photo with him.

“This lawsuit is a bogus, manufactured lawsuit, in an attempt to extort money from me by the Fieger Law Firm,” Morse said.

Morse went on to say that Fieger was angry at him because a client of Fieger's fire him and hired Morse. “This lawsuit is complete and utter nonsense, and I will vigorously defend myself against these false claims.

According to Fieger's office, the lawsuit said the victim filed a complaint with the Farmington Hills Police Department and also wore a wire and recorded Morse admitting the actives that are alleged.

The police department says they do not comment on open investigations, and will neither confirm nor deny that there is an open investigation.
