A bullet found in a hallway at Berkley High School sent the school on lockdown Friday.
A 9mm live round was found near the auditorium around lunchtime, said Berkley Public Safety Director Matt Koehn.
Several police agencies including a K9 dog swept the school but did not find a gun. They determined there was no threat.
The lockdown is lifted as students are let out at 3 p.m.
Koehn said student's backpacks were not searched during the sweep, but that police will monitor the students as they exit the building.
