Bob Evans Farm, Inc. is recalling its pork sausage link product due to possible plastic contamination, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The Food Safety and Inspection Service says about 46,734 pounds of pork sausage link may contain pieces of clear hard plastic.
Bob Evans Farm discovered the contamination after receiving consumer complaints about the plastic pieces.
Recalled products were produced on Aug. 1 and have the establishment number "EST 6785."

The sausage links have been shipped to locations in states including:
- Michigan
- Illinois
- Indiana
- Missouri
- Maryland
- North Carolina
- New York
- New Jersey
- Ohio
- Pennsylvania
- Virginia
- Wisconsin
So far, there have been no confirmed reports of illness as a result of eating the pork sausage.
