LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) — A boil water alert has been issued for all people who use the Livingston Community Water Authority, the group announced on Monday morning.
According to the LCWA, the water system suffered a loss of pressure on Sunday night due to a mechanical failure at the well site.
Pressure has since been restored, but since there was a total loss of pressure, the authority issued the precautionary measure for 2 hours or until notice.
The alert is intended for anyone water that will be used for human consumption.
