(WXYZ) — Buddy's Pizza is continuing its expansion across the state with a new restaurant coming to the Kalamazoo area in 2020. The restaurant in Portage will be Buddy's second west Michigan a location.
It will be located at 5314 S. Westnedge Ave., and was selected after years of requests to bring Detroit-style pizza to west Michigan.
The 7,700-square-foot-space was previously occupied by another restaurant, and will be completely renovated to feature elements from Buddy's Detroit roots.
Their first location in west Michigan opened in Grand Rapids earlier this year.
