A utility pole was knocked down overnight on Detroit's east side.
Police say a car slammed into the pole on 7 Mile and Schoenherr, knocking it down and taking the power lines with it.
7 Mile was shut down for a short time overnight but has since reopened.
DTE crews are working to fix the pole. Meanwhile, police are investigating the crash and trying to determine whether alcohol played a role.
