MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Macomb County Sheriff's Office is offering care packages for seniors this month.
According to Sheriff Anthony Wickersham, seniors - age 60 years and older - can pick up a care package filled with COVID-19 essentials, such as hand sanitizer, face masks, toilet paper and paper towels.
Pick-up is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 17 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Macomb County Resource Center on North Rose Street in Mount Clemens.
Packages will be distributed on a contactless, first-come basis. No reservations are required, but there is a one package per person limit.
Those interested are asked to pull up to the circle drive facing North Rose, stay in your vehicle, show their photo ID and receive their care package.
