(WXYZ) — Just one month before St. Patrick's Day, Carhartt and Guinness have once again teamed up for special-themed gear to keep the holiday spirit alive amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
With St. Patrick's Day celebrations having to change in 2021, Carhartt and Guinness are encouraging people to recreate their St. Patrick's Day at home using the hashtah #MakeYourOwnParade.
"Throughout 2020, we saw the resiliency of hard-working people all around the world," Carhartt Marketing VP Janet Ries said in a release. "We've had to reinvent the way we connect and how we share experiences. So while we're still unable to celebrate in person, we encourage everyone to #MakeYourOwnParade and share your celebrations in the safest, most connected and optimistic way."
This is the third time the two brands have collaborated for special gear, and this year's features women's and men's sweatshirts, t-shirts and hats with the "work for the better" tagline.
"As a company rooted in a rich history of hard work and a reputation for quality, we couldn't think of a more fitting partner to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with than our friends at Carhartt," said Nikhil Shah, Guinness Brand Director. "The holiday has taken on a new meaning for us this year and, with this new collection, we remain strong in our commitment to uplifting people and communities during this time."
All of the Carhartt and Guinness items can be found on the Carhartt website, in retail stores across the country and in select retailers starting Feb. 17.
