A catholic school in Nashville has banned all of the Harry Potter books.

The Saint Edward Catholic School removed the series from its library because administrators fear the books, when read out loud, risk "conjuring evil spirits."

The school's priest says the books contain actual curses and spells and can call upon dangerous spirits to possess the reader.

The priest says he spoke with exorcists in the United States and Rome who recommended removing the books.
