(WXYZ)A — Cedar Point is celebrating its 150th anniversary next year by introducing the Gold Pass, which will provide unlimited entrances to both the amusement park and Cedar Point Shores Waterpark for the rest of 2019, including HalloWeekends.

The pass also includes free parking, discounts on food and merchandise, bring-a-friend admission discounts, exclusive ride times, and unlimited access to the season-long celebration next year. The pass gets you "golden entry" which gives you the opportunity to ride some of the park's best attractions 30 minutes before the park opens.

The Gold Pass is available now at the park and on the park's website.

On top of the Gold Pass, Cedar Point said it plans to introduce many new family entertainment and memory-making experiences.

That includes a fully-immersive nighttime celebration along the Main Midway with new food options, a reimagined Town Hall in Frontier Town and a river expedition. The park plans to reveal details about the new additions leading up to Cedar Point's opening day next spring.
