Just a couple of weeks after Cedar Point opened for the season, Cedar Point Shores Waterpark will open on Saturday, May 26.

The park features 17 different attractions, including the six-story Point Plummet aqua-drop body slides, Portside Plunge inner tube slides, the Storm Surge raft slide, Lake Erie Nor'easter and more.

Those who want a relaxing experience can opt for the Cedar Creek lazy river or float in the 500,000-gallon Breakwater Bay wave pool.

For younger guests, there's also geysers, fountains and mini slides in Lakeslide Landing and Lemmy's Lagoon.

On top of that, there will be food including gourmet salads, seafood, chicken wraps and much more.

Live entertainment returns with the Summerdaze Band as well.

For a limited time, guests can buy a one-day Cedar Point ticket for $45 and get a free Cedar Point Shores ticket, valid for a visit through Sept. 3.
