Just in time for the holidays, a new study found the state of Michigan has the lowest price for a case of beer in the United States.

According to Simple Thrifty Living and Thrillist, the average price for a case of beer in Michigan is just $14.62, which is 15 cents cheaper than the second lowest price of $14.87 in California. In all, that works out to about $.61 cents per can.

The study specifically looked 24-packs of 12-ounce cans of Miller Lite and Bud Light, two of the cheapest beers on the market.

It's not clear if the study took into account the $.10 deposit, which if not accounted for, would add another $2.40 for the case of beer.

Pennsylvania had the most expensive case of beer at $21.98 per case, followed by Tennessee, Texas, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Nevada, Oklahoma, Alaska, Wyoming and Washington D.C.

The other states with the cheapest price were Illinois, North Carolina, Connecticut, South Carolina, Indiana, Virginia, Arizona and Nebraska.
