TROY, Mich. (WXYZ) — Chick-Fil-A's only drive-thru truck in the nation will be in metro Detroit Saturday.

The 18-wheeler truck will be stationed outside of Macy's at Somerset Collection in Troy from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The menu will include spicy chicken sandwiches, crispy waffle fries and gooey chocolate chip cookies.

Somerset Collection is also bringing The Detroit Shoppe to the community’s curbside. For a $10 donation, guests can receive a bag of Detroit’s beloved snacks, including Faygo pop, Better Made chips and Sanders Candy.

A portion of proceeds from Chick-Fil-A and all proceeds from The Detroit Shoppe will go to Techtown’s Detroit Small Business Stabilization Fund.

All doctors, nurses and medical professionals will receive a free meal from Chick-Fil-A and a free bag from The Detroit Shoppe.

“The Chick-Fil-A truck could have gone anywhere in the US, and we are deeply honored they decided to bring it to Somerset Collection for our community,” said Nathan Forbes, Managing Partner of The Forbes Company. “They have been a model partner as we’ve worked together to support the community and we are thrilled to complement their newest gesture with The Detroit Shoppe.”

Again, the truck drive-thru will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday and closed on Sunday.

In addition to Chick-fil-A, J. Alexander’s and PF Chang’s are available for carryout orders.
