(WXYZ) — Imagine having all the energy in the world. Imagine having big dreams, hopes, plans for the present and for the future.

Now, imagine one day, losing all of that desire and being left feeling, almost lifeless. And not knowing how to get it back.

There are a lot of people suffering like this. It’s called chronic fatigue syndrome. It’s not a new disorder, but it has become a side effect of COVID-19.

7 Action News' Andrea Isom met with a survivor and a doctor with a treatment regime that has given people help and hope.
