The sound of chainsaws is filling the air in Detroit as thousands of trees are slated to come down.
The city is targeting thousands of eyesores that are causing big problems. We're told the city has extra money from a light snow-removal season that they can put towards tree removal. They've targeted about 3,000 trees they call dead and dangerous.
It's going to take about nine months to complete the job, but once it's done, the city hopes to replace them with about 1,000 new trees.
