A Clinton Township couple is facing charges in connection to the death of an 18-month-old boy.
William Mark Warren III, 23, and Brandee Wright, 22, are expected to be arraigned today.
Police say the infant, Amere Carver, suffered head trauma and other serious injuries while in Warren's care on August 11. We're told Wright arrived to find the boy limp and unresponsive.
Amere was William Warren's son from a previous relationship.
Clinton Township police also believe that Wright tried to ask another roommate to help cover up what had happened by lying about who had been watching the child.
Amere passed away at a local hospital on August 13, two days after being admitted. Doctors also found a severe burn on the boy's finger, according to police.
