(WXYZ) — We're now more than half a year into the COVID-19 pandemic, and people throughout the country and dealing with major changes to their daily routine.
With school in full session and sports starting back up, Michelin has four different ways you can juggle a possible chaotic family schedule.
First, Michelin said use Sunday to map out your wardrobe and meals. Taking time on Sunday will give you time back during the week, according to the company. They also say to consider purchasing five different colored stickers – one for each day of the week.
Next, Michelin said to upgrade your tires on your car. The tires are the most critical piece of safety equipment, and a study by the company found 70% of parents are driving their kids to school instead of the bus. On top of that, the study found 39% of parents are practicing car maintenance.
Third, Michelin said you can utizilize cleaning hacks to save time, and clean the house little by little instead of once a week.
Most important, take care of yourself. Michelin says take a walk and listen to music or your favorite podcast, and squeeze in time whenever you can, even between daily tasks or an extra hour before the rest of your house gets up.
