HOWELL, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Medilodge of Howell is dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak and currently has 39 positive cases among their residents and staff.
According to information on their website, this accounts for 60% of the positive cases at the facility since May 8, 2020.
While the available information does not indicate when the positive tests were returned, the Medilodge website says there are no new confirmed cases as of today.
In response to questions from 7 Action News, the State of Michigan's Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs says they have received complaints about the facility and there is an inspection pending. Any results from those inspections can only be released publicly once they are completed and made available to the public.
