COVID vaccine clinic opens for Plymouth-Canton seniors beginning Feb. 25

(WXYZ) — COVID vaccination appointments are now being taken for seniors in the Plymouth-Canton area.

Those qualifying residents will be able to get doses of the vaccine on Feb. 25 and 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The COVID-19 Vaccine Senior Clinic is hosted by Canton Township and the Wayne County Health Department and will take place at Summit on the park, 46000 Summit Pkwy in Canton.

Resident 65 and older are required to call and schedule an appointment at 734-203-7657. You can contact the call center to schedule your appointment between Monday, Feb. 22 and Wednesday, Feb. 24, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The clinic is only open to residents of Canton Township, Plymouth City and Plymouth Township. Residency will be verified upon arrival, officials say.

Vaccinations will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis and while supplies last.

Do not contact Canton Public Safety with questions regarding vaccinations. Calls will only be taken through the appointment hotline on the dates mentioned above.
