CVS to begin COVID-19 vaccinations at nearly 1,000 long-term care facilities in Michigan on Monday

(WXYZ) — CVS Health will begin administering COVID-19 vaccines at nearly 1,000 long-term care facilities in Michigan on Monday.

According to the company, the vaccines will be at 990 skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in the state that selected CVS Health as their COVID-19 vaccination partner. In all, CVS will adminsiter faccines at more than 40,000 long-term care facilities across the country.

CVS also said they have an agreement with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to eventually give vaccines in the general public in 10,000 locations across the country by 2021.
