DETROIT (WXYZ) — The Detroit Medical Center announced it has started to administer COVID-19 vaccines to patients who are 65 and older.

According to the DMC, they have reached out to patients to inform them of the registration process.

"While we are currently limiting vaccine registration to DMC patients, we expect to expand COVID-19 vaccination to include those who meet the state and federal criteria in the coming weeks," the DMC said in a statement.
