NOVI, Mich. (WXYZ) — Emagine Entertainment, Inc.'s drive-in theater at their Emagine Novi location opens Friday, July 17.

The drive-in theater is located along the south side of Emagine Novi theater in the parking lot of the Twelve Mile Crossing at Foundation Walk.

Since March, Emagine theatres have remained closed due to government mandates, which Emagine Entertainment says inspired them to bring back the movie going experience with this outdoor screening option.

The large outdoor movie screen will be placed along the south side of the theatre over the current signage for Emagine, which will be temporarily removed for the screen installation.

All ticketing will be done online through Emagine’s website or app, which will provide a contactless check-in for all guests. Vehicles will be socially distanced parked in the order they arrive, with larger vehicles parked in the back rows.

The Emagine lobby will be open for carry out or car delivery concessions, which include favorites like popcorn, nachos, chicken tenders, candy, cotton candy, pretzel bites, cookie dough and more. There will also be an option for direct delivery of concessions to your car. No outside food or beverages allowed.
