Forgotten Harvest releases food distribution sites for April 13-17

OAK PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) — Forgotten Harvest has released its food distribution site locations for the week of Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17.

“Now more than ever, it’s vital that Forgotten Harvest is there to support the communities in need given the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Kirk Mayes, CEO and president of Forgotten Harvest. “We are increasing our food distribution site locations in order to reach those in need in metro Detroit and are so thankful for our team, donors, volunteers and supporters during this time.”

The schedule is as as follow:

Monday, April 13:

● Jermaine Jackson Community Center at 58 Orchard Rd. Mt. Clemens, MI

● Civic Center Park at 2725 Joslyn Ct. Orion, MI

● United Shore at 585 S. Blvd. Pontiac, MI

● Warren City Hall at 1 City Square Warren, MI

All distributions begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday and end at 1:00 p.m.

Tuesday, April 14:

● Community of Christ - Detroit Hope at 16621 Lahser Detroit, MI which begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at noon

● New Providence Baptist Church at 18211 Plymouth Detroit, MI; distribution starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at noon

● Christ Church Westside at 6025 Woodrow St. Detroit, MI; distribution begins at 2:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m.

● Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) at 5200 Woodward Ave. Detroit, MI; food picks up start at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 1:00 p.m.

● Second Ebenezer Church located at 14601 Dequindre St., Detroit, MI; distribution is from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m.

● Madonna University at 36600 Schoolcraft Rd. Livonia, MI; food pickups are from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

● Romulus High School at 9650 Wayne Rd. Romulus, MI; distribution starts at 1:00 p.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m.

Wednesday, April 15:

● Eastside Mother’s at 8726 E. 7 Mile Rd. Detroit, MI; food pickup is from 9:00 a.m. to noon

● Fiberglass Estate Community Hall at 16515 Plymouth Rd. Detroit, MI; distribution is from 9:00 a.m. to noon

● Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church at 15125 Burt Rd. Detroit, MI; pickups begin at 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

● Metropolitan Church of Nazarene at 18945 Frazho Roseville, MI; distribution starts at 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

● Oak Park Recreation Center at 14300 Oak Park Blvd. Oak Park, MI; food pickups start at 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Thursday, April 16:

● Welcome Missionary Baptist Church at 143 Oneida St., Pontiac, MI; distribution begins at 9:00 a.m. and wraps up at noon

● Pilgrim Baptist Church at 18474 Binder St., Detroit, MI; food pickups start at 2:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m.

● Second Canaan Missionary Baptist Church at 9435 Hayes St., Detroit, MI; distribution starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at noon

● Greater King Solomon Baptist Church at 6100 14th St., Detroit, MI; distribution begins at 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

● Wayne County Community College at 5901 Conner St., Detroit, MI; food distribution starts at 9:00 a.m. until noon

● New Haven High School at 57700 Gratiot Ave., New Haven, MI; pickup for food starts at 9:00 a.m. until noon

Friday, April 17:

● First Baptist Church of Holly located at 15030 N. Holly Rd., Holly, MI; distribution begins at 9:00 a.m. through noon

● New Providence Baptist Church at 18211 Plymouth Rd., Detroit, MI; food pickup starts at 9:00 a.m. until noon

● Bussey Center for Early Childhood Education at 24501 Fredrick St., Southfield, MI; food distribution begins at 9:00 a.m. to noon

● Solomon’s Temple Church located at 2326 E. 7 Mile Rd., Detroit, MI; starts at 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

● Hollitech - Holly Grove at 18016 Riopelle St., Detroit, MI; distribution begins at 2:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m.

● Gompers Elementary-Middle School at 14450 Burt Rd., Detroit, MI; food pickup begins at 9:00 a.m. through noon

● First Baptist Church of Wixom at 620 N. Wixom, Wixom, MI; distribution starts at 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
