Highland Park Police Chief in ICU with COVID-19

HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) — Highland Park Police Chief Hilton Napoleon is currently in intensive care after being diagnosed with COVID-19, the city confirmed to 7 Action News.

Napoleon the older brother of Wayne County Sheriff Benny Napoleon.

With numbers from Wednesday, COVID-19 had killed 43 people with more than 2,000 others.

A Wayne County Sheriff's Office commander and a Detroit police captain both died from the virus, as did a Detroit police dispatcher.
