(WXYZ) — Livingston County Sheriff Michael J. Murphy says he has tested positive for COVID-19.
Murphy says his wife is considered a presumptive positive, as she was never tested but had the same symptoms he did.
The sheriff describes those symptoms as “mild flu/cold” with loss of taste and smell.
Murphy says they are both doing very well he will be back to work Thursday.
