Michigan reports 1,158 new cases of COVID-19, 13 new deaths

(WXYZ) — Michigan reported 1,158 new cases of COVID-19 and 13 new deaths, the state's Department of Health and Human Services reported Saturday.

The new numbers bring the total number of COVID-19 cases to c and the total number of deaths from the virus to 6,801.

Nearly 100,000 people have recovered from the virus in Michigan – 99,521 to be exact.
