LANSING, Mich. (WXYZ) — Michigan reported 1,358 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday and 74 new deaths from the coronavirus.
That brings the total number of cases to 565,251 and the total number of deaths from the virus to 14,778. Sixty-three of the newly reported deaths were discovered during a review of vital records.
The state also lists a total 52,494 probable cases of COVID-19 and 947 probable deaths that are likely related to the virus.
There are currently 481,801 total recovered COVID-19 cases in the state.
Restaurants were allowed to open to in-person dining at 25% capacity on Monday after being closed since mid-November.
