(WXYZ) — Michigan reported 1,407 new cases of COVID-19 and 15 new deaths, the state's Department of Health and Human Services reported Monday.
The new numbers bring the total number of COVID-19 cases to 128,923 and the total number of deaths from the virus to 6,816. The numbers reported represent the total cases since Saturday, and work out to an average of 703 cases confirmed per day.
Nearly 100,000 people have recovered from the virus in Michigan – 99,521 to be exact.
