(WXYZ) — There are now 552,556 total confirmed COVID-19 cases in Michigan, the state reported Tuesday.
Additionally, there have been 14,405 deaths from the virus statewide. That's up 1,476 cases and 79 deaths since Friday. Forty-four of the newly reported deaths were found during a review of vital records.
The state also lists another 49,612 probably cases of COVID-19 and another 900 probably deaths from the coronavirus.
As of Jan. 22, the state records 463,106 COVID recoveries.
