Michigan reports 903 new cases of COVID-19, 22 deaths

(WXYZ) — There are 129,826 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Michigan and 6,838 deaths, the state announced Tuesday.

That's up 903 cases and 22 deaths from the day before.

According to the state, seven of the deaths announced Tuesday were identified during a Vital Records review.

As of Oct. 2, 99,521 people have recovered from the virus.
