Staff members at Birmingham schools test positive for COVID-19

BIRMINGHAM, Mich. (WXYZ) — Two staff members who work in the Birmingham School District have received positive test results for COVID-19.

District officials say one is a staff member at Berkshire Middle School and another is a staff member at Seaholm High School.

The district also said that two students, one at Pierce Elementary and one at Birmingham Covington School, are displaying symptoms consistent with COVID-19. Tests have not been conducted.

The district says that for each case, it is working with the Oakland County Health Division regarding actions the community should take.
