(WXYZ) — The State of Michigan confirmed another 1,738 cases of COVID-19 and 41 deaths on Tuesday.

That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 540,115 The number of deaths has climbed to 13,865.

The figures come as Johns Hopkins University reports total deaths for COVID-19 in the United States have now surpassed 400,000.
