There are four new deaths and 59,990 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Michigan, according to the state.

Michigan is now reporting 189 new cases of the virus, with 5,771 total deaths and 59,990 total confirmed cases as of Sunday.

On Friday, Michigan reported eight new coronavirus deaths and 125 new cases of COVID-19, which brought the state's total to 59,621 cases and 5,745 deaths.

It was the third-lowest increase in cases since mid-March and the third-lowest number of deaths since March 23. More here.
