Police say the serious traffic crash was caused by a wrong-way driver who reportedly hit several vehicles in Monroe County and continued northbound in the southbound lanes of the freeway, striking four more vehicles.
Four people, including the wrong-way driver, were transported to a local hospital with the non-life threatening injuries.
Police say they believe alcohol/drugs could be a factor in the crash.
