CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — Michigan State Police say a 61-year-old Canton Township man was killed in a crash on northbound I-275 near Cherry Hill Rd. on Thursday morning.
According to MSP, the highway is closed at Ford Rd. while police continue to investigate the crash.
Police say one vehicle rear-ended another vehicle in the middle lane of the highway, and then the vehicle that was rear-ended was pushed into another vehicle.
The 61-year-old man was driving the middle vehicle that was rear-ended. He was taken to the hospital and later died from his injuries.

MSP says crash reconstruction teams are working the scene.
