Detroit police and fire crews are investigating after a string of fires, all within a four block radius on the city's west side.
The investigators believe the fires are very suspicious and possibly suggesting there is arson involved.
One of the fires on Woodside has been fully put out, but crews are still taking care of hot spots to make sure it doesn't re-kindle. That fire did spread to the home next door after it started around 1:30 a.m.
The first fire happened at a house on Grand River and West Chicago, then another one on Woodside and the last one on Dundee not far from Grand River.
One firefighter on Dundee received medical attention for dehydration.
We'll be sure to update any information we get from Detroit police or fire.
