In what is a sure sign of spring, the date has been set for the annual Flower Day at Detroit's Eastern Market.
This year, Flower Day will take place on Sunday, May 20 at 7 a.m. at Eastern Market and run until 5 p.m. It's been a time-honored tradition for over 50 years.
The day is helped by the Metro Detroit Flower Growers Association which shares 15 acres of flowers for the region.
